CUPPING: WHAT IS IT?
Cupping involves placing silicone, plastic, or glass cups on the skin and suctioning out the air creating a vacuum effect.
The underlying tissues are sucked, or raised, partially into the cup. Cupping can be done in home or by a practitioner.
DIFFERENCE IN FASCIABLASTING & CUPPING:
The biggest difference is cupping pulls outwards. Besides fascia pulling or skin rolling type techniques, most other massages and massage tools including the Fasciablaster penetrate inwards. The treatment can enhance the benefits of Fasciablasting by providing additional movement in an opposing direction.
BENEFITS:
Cupping has numerous benefits — it can help remove toxins that linger in your body’s connective tissues causing a myriad of ailments by enhancing circulation to stagnant areas. Cupping increases the flow of lymph, and Qi to the affected area and throughout the body, relieves muscle tension and pain, calms the nervous system, reduces inflammation, improves energy, and reduces cellulite.
HOW TO CUP:
Cups may be moved around or left in place. They may remain on your body briefly or for longer amounts of time. Each treatment is unique to you on that particular day. Easing into cupping treatment is recommended by gradually increasing the amount of suction and placement duration of the cups.
METHODS:
Fixed/Stagnant/Placement Cupping:The cups are placed on a selected area of your body and then left in place without being moved.
Moving/Gliding/Sliding Cupping: As the name implies, in this method oil, lotion, or gel is applied first to the skin in selected areas. Soap can be used if in shower or tub. Cups are then continuously moved while providing suction. The cups should slide easily without pulling the skin.

LARGE (2.5”) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I love these. I purchased several pairs. Great suction for gliding and fixed but a bit challenging to put on your back by yourself. I have lots of tips to help you.
Be sure to order a large.

Endiglow Cups So easy to use but minimal suction due to size, not best at gliding but might be easiest set to put on your own back.

Lure Essentials Edge - love this set, I use the smaller ones to glide on smaller areas of my body.
https://amzn.to/2IJXyfx
Zen cupping - very functional, work well for gliding or fixed cupping, might be easier to use if you have hand soreness or strength issues. Easy to control suction and can use small one to glide across face.
https://amzn.to/2M9SPmo
Vacuum cupping - hand pump, hard plastic, same type as Ashley’s set. These are great for fixed cupping because of the hand pump you can control the amount of suction and can get more than the silicone cups if needed but not my favorite for gliding. They sell a large and small set depending on how many you want.
